Two Bedroom Suite

The Shamrock Lodge Hotel two-bedrooms suites are the perfect accommodation option for families or friends planning a break. Our suites are situated down our beautiful tree lined driveway and are adjacent to the hotel accessed by a covered walkway.

Each suite contains 2 separate en-suite bedrooms which can be made into double or twin rooms. A sofa bed is provided in the spacious separate living room area making it a comfortable space for up to 5 adults. The suites have all that you need for a break away with a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Similar to apartments, they offer extra space and while there are no cooking facilities, guests can enjoy delicious bar food in the Iona Bar or treat yourselves to a sumptuous dinner in our Bistro.

Each suite is identical in design to the Shamrock Lodge Hotel Deluxe and Superior Bedrooms which mirror the tasteful elegant style of the hotel, offering the perfect accommodation in Athlone for groups or families. Each suite is identical and offers the following facilities:

“Fantastic well run family hotel”
Visited here with our young family and stayed in the apartments. It was ideal for our family of 5 with 2 ensuite double/twin rooms and an extra single bed in the living area. The apartment was modern, spotlessly clean and great value for money. We didn't get to eat in the bar but the breakfast was perfect and staff very friendly. Great location, within walking distance of many restaurants /Latin quarter of Athlone. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be back the next time we visit Athlone.
