Shamrock Lodge Hotel self-catering apartments are a fantastic accommodation option for families or friends planning a break. Our apartments are situated down our beautiful tree lined driveway and are adjacent to the hotel accessed by a covered walkway.
Each of our 4 self-catering apartments contains 2 separate en-suite bedrooms which can be made into double or twin rooms. Our self-catering apartments come complete with small kitchenette, washing machine, oven and fridge.
All 4 self-catering apartments are identical in design to the Shamrock Lodge Hotel Deluxe and Superior Bedrooms which mirror the tasteful elegant style of the hotel, offering the perfect accommodation in Athlone for groups or families.

We had to visit Athlone for family reasons and booked a two-bed self-catering apartment as we had our four year old twins with us. From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us, it was like arriving home to a family they were just unreal.
The apartment shocked me as it was so big, I had not expected one that size, two very large bedrooms two bathrooms a living room and kitchen with all the mod cons, it was just perfect, it was spotless and the beds were so comfy.
The hotel is set in a tree lined avenue, you are in the town but it seems you are in the country side, it’s just perfect. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the hotel and will see you soon.
