Comfortable Accommodation

Check in each day is from 3.00pm and check out each day is at 12noon.

Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 10.00am during the week and between 7.30am and 10.30am on Saturdays and Sundays.

7 of our  two bedroom suites  are only partly self-catering with a small fridge and microwave, they do not have cooking facilities.
We also have 4 self-catering apartments  which have a small kitchenette so you have the option to cook.

There is a block of 3 buildings located directly beside the hotel and they are visible on the right-hand side as you drive down our beautiful tree lined driveway. They are adjacent to the hotel accessed by a covered walkway. Some are located on the ground floor while there are others located upstairs via stairs. If you require a ground floor apartment, please let us know upon booking.

Each  two bedroom suite and self-catering apartment has 2 separate bedrooms which can be either double rooms or twin rooms and each bedroom has its own en-suite. There is also a separate large living/lounge area in the suite which has an option for a camp bed. Our suites accommodate 4 to 5 adults or 2 adults and up to 4 children.

We do not have any interconnecting rooms, however we can allocate bedrooms beside each other if and when possible.

We can offer both triple rooms and quad rooms on request.

We do not have any bunk beds.

Our accessible rooms can accommodate 2 guests, in twin or double capacity. We have 2 accessible bedrooms located on the 1st and 2nd floor and can be reached using our elevator. Each accessible bedroom has a walk in shower also.

Smart TV, underfloor heating in bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, black out curtains. We do not have fridges in our hotel bedrooms.

Shamrock Lodge Hotel is set on our own private grounds and gardens on the west side of the town less than a 10 minute walk to Athlone Castle and Left Bank area. See information on our location.

Yes you can, the Left Bank area is just a 10 minute walk away, while the centre of town (Athlone Town Centre Shopping Centre) is a short 20 minute walk over the picturesque River Shannon. See information on our location.

We have over 300 onsite car parking spaces which are FREE to all our guests.
