Breakfast Times
Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 10am
Saturday and Sunday from 7.30am – 10.30am.
Lunch Food Service
Lunch is served Monday to Saturday 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Carvery Lunch is served every Sunday from 12.30pm – 3.30pm
No booking needed for lunch
Evening Food Service
Evening food is served daily from 4.30pm – 9.00pm
Booking is advised for evening dining, please contact our Reception Team on ‘0’
Guide to Hotel Facilities
WiFi
There is no password on the WiFi, simply choose the ‘ShamrockLodge’ WiFi option.
TV Access
Smart TVs are available in all bedrooms and in the living room of our two-bedroom suites.
Please use your own login details for Netflix and log-out upon departure.
Tea/Coffee Making Facilities
Complimentary tea/coffee facilities are available in your room. Please keep children out of reach of such facilities.
Check In/Check Out Times
Check in time is 3.30pm
Check out time is 11.30am.
If you wish to extend your stay or require a late check out, please contact our reception team by dialling ‘0’. Please note this is subject to availability.
Early Departures
If you are departing before 8am, we would greatly appreciate if you could settle your account the night before.
Full Irish breakfast and continental breakfast are available for early departures, by prior arrangement.
Wake Up Calls
Please dial ‘0’ for reception to arrange an automatic wake up call for you.
Room Service
Breakfast room service cards are located at the tea/coffee station or on the door handle. Please fill in the breakfast room service cards and leave outside your room by 2am should you wish to have breakfast served to your room the following morning.
Evening room service is available from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.
Please note there is a surcharge of €7 per tray.
Accommodation Services
Should you require any extra towels, blankets, heaters etc, please dial ‘0’.
Taxi
Please contact the hotel reception (dial ‘0’) should you wish us to book a taxi for you.
Mingala Day Spa
Mingala Day Spa is located on the grounds of the hotel in one of our two-bedroom suites. They provide a full range of body and facial skin care treatments. There are 2 treatment rooms and a reception area, unfortunately there is no thermal suite facility.
Mingala offer 10% off body treatments for hotel guests but you must book in advance by contacting them directly on +353 90 647 7770, email: app@mingala.ie or click the link below to book online.
Doctors
For medical attention, please contact Reception. Fees are the responsibility of the hotel guest.
Churches and Places of Worship
Several places of worship are located close to the hotel, including SS. Peter & Paul Church, St Mary’s Church of Ireland, River of Life Christian Church, Cherith Baptist Church and Athlone Methodist Church.

Tourist Information
Athlone Tourist Office is currently located at the Athlone Civic Centre, a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
