Shamrock Lodge Hotel invites you to begin your married life with your family and with ours where our team provide happy couples with a unique location on beautiful grounds, a very personal service and the promise of an amazing day. Weddings have always been special to the Shamrock Lodge team and having been host to weddings for 70 years, we like to celebrate all the wonderful couples we have hosted down through the years.
Havin been fortunate to welcome generations of families share their special day, it is truly special when we receive memorabilia from couples. See some wonderful examples below:
The little girl on the left, Nadine, is holding her beautiful mum’s hand on her parent’s wedding day (Sascha & Declan Moran) on the 19th August 1995 at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. Fast forward 27 years and the stunning bride on the right is Nadine herself on her own wedding day at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on the 9th September 2022 recreating the original photo with her own darling son Ollie ♥
Photo one – Jack and Gladys Gorman (Nee Murphy) pictured in the garden of the Shamrock Lodge on their Wedding Day in 1959.
Photo two – is of their daughter’s Wedding Ann (nee Gorman) to Noel Lackey. Reception held at the Shamrock Lodge on the 20th June 1980.
Photo three – is Noel and Ann’s son Noel JR who married Angkana Lackey, reception at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on the 8th December 2015.
Patsy and Maureen and their family returned to The Shamrock Lodge Hotel for their 50th Wedding Anniversary on the 6th June 2016.
5 of Patsy and Maureen’s children have had their Wedding reception at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel:
John and Jeanette, Patrick and Siobhan, Mary and Joe, Ann and Christopher and Mark and Deborah.

Matt and Bernie’s 4 children have had their Wedding reception at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, David and Kate, Marese and Fergal, Edel and Shane & Bernadette and Karl.
Married in Coosan Church with reception at the Shamrock Lodge.
Their daughter Nicola and her husband Paul Collins had their reception at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on the 17th February 2007.
Their other daughter Niamh and partner James had their wedding with us on 4th May 2018.
